The travel magazine Hemispheres is asking readers to nominate their favorite places. Nominations are due June 10.
England-based artist Martin Donlin’s work is named for a line from William Shakespeare’s play, “Coriolanus” where Sicinius asks, “What is a city but the people.” The concept utilizes multiple layers of pattern and imagery exhibited through the placement of polycarbonate tiles and fastened to steel cables spanning from the second to the sixth floor of the parking garage.
“The new reality of streaming is that it’s perfect for our medium,” said Lance McDaniel, deadCenter's executive director. “I think people are on board with this new style of receiving movies and now we’ll offer movies that they can’t see anywhere else.”
Oprah magazine praised the city for its eclectic outdoor and indoor venues, among others.
This is the most recent addition at WRWA in 12 years. The $89 million project will add 133,022 square feet to the existing 410,000 square-foot airport terminal, with 43,473 square feet being renovated.
The theme of this year’s NTTW, “Spirit of Travel,” honors the travel industry in recognition of the industry’s strength, selflessness and resiliency. OKC CVB encourages residents to participate in daily activities.
