Gardner wins national AIA video award

Gardner Architects told the story of the EastPoint Project and won the National AIA film contest. The firm plans to use some of the prize money to start a scholarship for design students from the city's northeast side.

More apartments are coming to the east side of downtown, filling the vacant lot at the intersection of NE Third Street and N Walnut Avenue. The land is owned by the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority.

Mixed-use building coming to the Wheeler District

Designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, the 27,000-square-foot three-story building will have a 9,000-squrae-foot retail space on the first floor and office space on the second and third floor, each also measuring 9,000 square feet. The new mixed-use building is one of several exciting construction projects underway in the district.
