Champion Hotels has finished renovating the former Marriott on Northwest Expressway into an Embassy Suites. Besides the more than 200 rooms, the property also has 20,000 square feet of event space, including a 10,000 square-foot ballroom.

The new mixed-use building is one of several exciting construction projects underway in the district.
