The Renaissance luxury lifestyle hotel will officially open July 21. The hotel is the first full-service accommodation within the Bricktown district’s limits. Standing at 10 stories tall, the building incorporates 182 rooms, two presidential suites, a fitness center, 3,000 square feet of ballroom space and two meeting rooms. The hotel offers a full-scale Starbucks, as well as an upscale restaurant in Culprits. Valet parking will be offered for hotel and restaurant guests, as well.
“We have built many hotels, but this one is special,” said Anish Patel, Vice President of Finance for Anish Hotels Group, who is bringing the Renaissance to Bricktown.

“It was a very fun project because it allowed us to get creative. From the design through the end process, we questioned all standard practices for hotels to see if it made sense or how we can make it better. Renaissance Hotels may be a familiar name to us in OKC, but this will be completely different.”
A Renaissance-flagged hotel once served Oklahoma City’s downtown as a go-to destination for convention guests. However, with the addition of the Oklahoma City Convention Center, and a remodel of the old convention center into a production studio, the hotel is no longer the closest accommodation for convention guests. The Anish Hotels Group is bringing an entirely new Renaissance to Oklahoma City’s lodging economy with their Bricktown building by putting a focus on guests of business and leisure, rather than convention-goers.
“The Renaissance Bricktown isn’t the Renaissance of the past. This is a luxury lifestyle hotel that OKC hasn’t seen before. When you walk into the lobby, you’ll get that feeling of excitement and luxury.”
The restaurant, Culprits, is meant to bring an uplifting energy to the city’s fine dining scene.
“Culprits will be a high energy environment with a vibrant bar and thoughtfully curated menu. The music will be up, and the food and drinks will be intriguing and plentiful. The goal is to create a fun and memorable dining experience unlike anything in the state.”

Oklahoma City Bricktown Riverwalk
Built into one of Oklahoma City’s most famous areas, the hotel is within walking distance of several major attractions. A few feet from the canal, hotel guests can reach a variety of restaurants and entertainment within minutes. The area even offers a couple museums, like Exhibit C Gallery and American Banjo Museum, along Sheridan Avenue. Further down the street, a mix of bars, a comedy club, a music venue and other late-night hangouts provide guests with an opportunity to interact with the locals who frequent the district just as often as out-of-towners.
“This project is a testimony to the great growth downtown Oklahoma City is experiencing as a whole. As these projects come to fruition, Oklahoma City and Bricktown solidify their spots as top destinations for tourists, conventions, and events,” Bricktown General Manager Justin O’Neal said.
“Bricktown is a district that continues to reinvent itself. With the addition of the new hotel and new dining options such as The Joinery, Old Spaghetti Factory, a newly announced Brazilian Steak House and Culprits inside the hotel, Bricktown is expanding to be a well-rounded destination with something for everyone.”

Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark
Paycom Center, home to the Oklahoma City Thunder, is within walking distance as well. However, Oklahoma City public transportation makes it easier than that, by providing streetcar service with a route that passes the Renaissance, circles back, and stops right outside of the arena. The Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, home to the Los Angeles Dodgers' minor league affiliate OKC Dodgers, sits one block away from the hotel. For guests who would prefer to watch a movie, more than a sports game, Harkins Theatres serves as the cessation of Bricktown’s most central street, Mickey Mantle Drive.
“Building a high-rise on a tight, urban site is never easy, but we had great neighbors in Bricktown that were very helpful that made it much easier. The business owners in Bricktown have really embraced and supported us through this long process so we are thankful. Bricktown is always busy with pedestrian traffic so navigating a closed primary corner had some challenges, but once everything is complete and removed, I’m sure they’ll be happy,” Patel said.
The hotel group is partnering with local non-profit, Citizens Caring for Children, to remain actively involved in the Oklahoma City community. The non-profit provides children living in foster care with basic necessities and resources for growth.
“Different than almost every other hotel owner and operator in downtown OKC, we are local to Oklahoma, and this is our community.”
