By Chamber Staff / Development / September 30, 2025

The Oklahoma City Council has approved final plans for soccer facility improvements at C.B. Cameron Park and South Lakes Park. The projects are part of the $32.34 million MAPS 4 Parks program, which includes upgrades to soccer facilities and public space transformation.

“Both C.B. Cameron and South Lakes parks play a vital role in OKC’s youth soccer programs, which are key to community health and wellbeing,” MAPS Program Manager David Todd said. “The improvements will add amenities for our kids and families to enjoy during league play and also add capacity to host large tournaments, which drive economic impact for our city.”

Both parks will include new community-focused clubhouses with hospitality rooms for up to 150 people, improved access to concessions and upgraded maintenance facilities.

C.B. Cameron Park, located near NW 122nd Street and Lake Hefner Parkway, has $19.5 million budgeted for field and amenity improvements.

  • New viewing plazas and seating
  • A clubhouse and a south concession plaza
  • A state-of-the-art soccer building plaza
  • A pedestrian-friendly park entrance
  • A maintenance facility
