Growth continues at Chisholm Creek

If you’re counting the days until you can visit a new restaurant or catch an outdoor concert, you’re in luck. You can add Chisholm Creek to your list of options, as new shopping and dining additions and a variety of safe, family-friendly events are planned for spring and summer.
“People are looking for high energy, fresh experiences and anywhere with a great outdoor space and that’s exactly what we offer,” said Lindsay Hagstrom, director of events and marketing for Chisholm Creek.
Recent additions include Cultured Cloths, an upscale women’s boutique and Blend Nutrition offering protein shakes and energy teas. On the horizon for spring is the second location of the Oklahoma-based acai bowl shop The Surf Bar.
If it’s a restaurant complete with live music you’re after, early summer will bring Bandee’s BBQ, a full-service restaurant with an upstairs open-air venue and bar, Bandee’s Live. If a day out with your four-legged family members is more your speed, Red Solo Pup, a restaurant and off-leash dog park, opens in the spring.
Red solo pup will soon be here to entertain you and your furry friend
Chisholm Creek’s sprawling complex and green space offers the perfect spot for outdoor activities. The success of the A Very Chisholm Christmas was the impetus to create a variety of upcoming events that include a little something for everyone.
“What we hear from our visitors is they love a safe environment where they can enjoy a night out, or maybe bring their kids for an afternoon or evening. The more things we can offer beyond shopping and dining only adds to the experience, making Chisholm Creek a true destination in Oklahoma City,” added Hagstrom.

Bandee's BBQ will open early summer.
Visitors can enjoy St. Patrick’s Day activities (be sure to check out the green pond), Easter events and a Star Wars trivia night complete with characters— appropriately scheduled for May (the) 4th (be with you).
Beginning in May, a Farmer’s Market is planned every Friday through July, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. For the fitness fanatics try out one of the specialty classes from CycleBar or YogaSix.
Music will fill the water stage throughout the summer and early fall. Concerts at the Creek take the stage in May and run through the end of October. The series features local artists and energetic cover bands in a family-friendly environment.
“As OKC keeps growing, we keep growing; it is a win-win for everyone. We love this community and the continued collaboration with the city. We look forward to getting bigger and better,” said Hagstrom.
