Hard Rock Hotel Coming to Lake Texoma

The Hard Rock Hotel franchise is coming to Lake Texoma. It’s part of an expansive $1 billion development along the Oklahoma-Texas border that also includes a residential community. The project is expected to create more than 9,000 jobs in the area.
The Hard Rock Hotel and Residences will be in the Pointe Vista development. The 2,700-acre resort community features over 19 miles of shoreline, a golf course, an enclosed waterpark, a family entertainment center, an amphitheater, shopping, dining and more.
“We’re excited to expand our award-winning hotel portfolio and bring our unique brand of hospitality and entertainment to Lake Texoma and the Pointe Vista development,” said Todd Hricko, senior vice president and head of Global Hotel Development for Hard Rock International.
The new Hard Rock Hotel is set to have 189 rooms with 25 suites and 168 residence rentals. The facility will also have an 18,000-square-foot conference center and event lawn for weddings and other events.
A key feature of the development is an 11-acre Oasis Spring called Caribbean Bay with white sand beaches, cabanas, a spa, a fitness center, a conference center, a rooftop bar, restaurants and a gift shop featuring Hard Rock's world-famous merchandise. Guests will also have access to a golf course and 320-slip marina.
Construction is scheduled to begin this spring with a planned grand opening in the second quarter of 2026.
Lake Texoma attracts nearly seven million visitors every year, hosting multiple fishing and golf tournaments at the country’s 14th-largest reservoir.
