StitchCrew, in collaboration with The Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, is accepting applications for its Oklahoma City Business Accelerator Program aimed at fostering the growth of Latino-owned businesses. The program offers selected participants a unique opportunity to receive a $15,000 non-dilutive grant, access to the Thunder Launchpad working space and invaluable mentorship from industry executives, investors and business leaders.

Learning Platform for Growth

The accelerator program is specifically designed to serve as a learning platform for the next generation of Latino-owned businesses. Its primary objective is to assist these businesses in developing a clear path to reaching $1 million in revenue. Participants will be guided by the expertise of StitchCrew and other business experts, providing them with the necessary tools to refine and scale their business models while compounding revenue.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this program, companies must be registered in Oklahoma, minority-owned and based within Oklahoma City. Eligible businesses must also have 100 or fewer full-time employees and be for-profit entities registered with the Oklahoma secretary of state.

Time Commitment

Selected companies must have at least one founder participate in an eight-week program scheduled for spring 2024. This will involve weekly sessions (2-3 hours per week), optional office hours, and an in-person, half-day event. The overall time commitment amounts to approximately four hours per week, with additional opportunities to engage with capital providers, executives and thought leaders throughout the program.

Program Benefits

Selected participants will not only receive a non-dilutive $15,000 stipend but also gain access to the Thunder Launchpad working space. They will receive business coaching from StitchCrew, investors, executives and an extended network of business leaders. Weekly content, one-on-one meetings and the chance to connect with other founders will contribute to a comprehensive learning experience.

Selection Process

Applications for the accelerator program will close February 11 at 11:59 p.m. CST. The selection process may include candidate interviews. Final decisions will be communicated to applicants by mid-March. The accelerator will run from the end of March through mid-May, culminating in an in-person, half-day event where participants will showcase their companies to the community.

StitchCrew's Oklahoma City Business Accelerator Program represents a significant opportunity for Latino entrepreneurs in Oklahoma City to receive support, mentorship and financial assistance on their path to business success. Applications are open, and the deadline is approaching—don't miss the chance to be part of this transformative journey!
