Global Entry enrollment event coming to OKC airport

Oklahoma City travelers will soon have a convenient opportunity to complete the final step of the Global Entry enrollment process without leaving the metro.
From July 28-30, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will host Global Entry interviews at Will Rogers International Airport for travelers who have already received conditional approval through the Department of Homeland Security's Trusted Traveler Programs. Global Entry allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to move through customs more quickly when returning to the United States, making it especially valuable for frequent international travelers.
The enrollment event comes as Oklahoma City's international travel options continue to expand, including the airport's new nonstop service to Cancun.
"We are grateful to have Global Entry here at OKC International Airport to create a new benefit for Oklahoma City residents and visitors," said Jeff Mulder, director of airports. "With our new international flight to Cancun and more on the horizon, adding access to Global Entry enrollment continues to elevate OKC's travel offerings."
Appointments are required and are available only for applicants who have received conditional approval through the Department of Homeland Security's Trusted Traveler Programs. Interviews will be held July 28-30 at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection office located at the east end of the baggage claim area.
The temporary enrollment event allows conditionally approved applicants to complete the interview process without traveling to another city, adding another convenience for Oklahoma City travelers as international service at the airport continues to grow.
