Global Entry enrollment expands to weekly appointments at OKC airport

After offering a temporary Global Entry enrollment event earlier this summer, Will Rogers International Airport is expanding the service with weekly appointments beginning in October.
Starting Oct. 8, travelers will be able to complete Global Entry enrollment interviews at the airport every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The expansion follows a three-day enrollment event held at the airport in July, giving Oklahoma City-area travelers ongoing local access to the final step of the Global Entry application process.
“We are grateful to have Global Entry here at OKC International Airport to create a new benefit for Oklahoma City residents and visitors,” Director of Airports Jeff Mulder said. “With our new international flight to Cancun and more on the horizon, adding access to Global Entry enrollment continues to elevate OKC’s travel offerings.”
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection trusted traveler program that provides expedited processing for preapproved travelers returning to the United States from international destinations. Membership lasts five years and includes TSA PreCheck.
Travelers must apply online, pay the $120 application fee and receive conditional approval before scheduling an interview at Will Rogers. Once approved, applicants can schedule one of the airport’s weekly Thursday appointments through their Trusted Traveler Programs account.
