OKC has the 14th-lowest unemployment rate in the county

For major metros with more than one million in population, Oklahoma City had the 14^th-lowest unemployment rate in the country according to the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The unemployment rate for the metro came in at 5% which is a slight uptick from January’s rate of 4.7%. Statewide unemployment stayed flat with a rate of 4.4%. The unemployment rate nationwide was 6.2%.
