OKC metro continues to see low unemployment numbers

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Oklahoma City metro had an unemployment rate of 5.9% for October. This represents the 18^th-lowest unemployment rate for large metros in the United States. Large metros are defined as an MSA with more than 1 million in population. 

Statewide the unemployment rate rose slightly to 6.1%. The rate for the nation as a whole was at 6.9% for October.
