OKC unemployment remains steady for October

According to recently released data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate for the Oklahoma City metro remained at 2.9% for the month of October. Oklahoma City has the 19^th-lowest unemployment rate for major metros of more than 1 million population.

Oklahoma County and the State of Oklahoma had unemployment rates of 3.1% and 3.3%, respectively. These were both slight increases from the previous month. The nation, as a whole, has a 3.6% unemployment rate.
