Oklahoma City unemployment rate continues to improve
For the month of November, Oklahoma City MSA unemployment improved from the previous month, from 3.3% to 2.8%.
The Oklahoma City metro was tied for the 16th lowest unemployment rate among large metros, categorized as those with populations of over 1 million. Comparatively, among large metros, Minneapolis had the lowest rate at 1.9%. Las Vegas had the highest unemployment at 5.6%.
The state's unemployment rate remained the same as the month prior at 3.4%, slightly lower than the national average of 3.7%.
