SYNQ3 plans to hire 350 additional OKC employees
Oklahoma City’s telecommute work base continues to rapidly grow as SYNQ3 Restaurant Solutions projects hiring another 350 employees by the end of June
When SYNQ3 Restaurant Solutions opened their Oklahoma City branch in October 2018, the CEO, Steve Bigari, projected that the company would hire 300 OKC, telecommute employees in 2019. Now, the company already has more than 200 active, OKC, at-home employees; and, they’re planning to hire an additional 350 employees by the end of June.
“As we’re adding new restaurant clients and expanding services to our current restaurants, we continue to need more service-oriented team members,” Bigari said. “It’s an exciting time to work with SYNQ3 as we’re experiencing so much rapid growth.” SYNQ3 works with 30-plus restaurant brands; multiple are nationwide brands with thousands of locations.
In terms of growth, SYNQ3 recently surpassed $5 billion in takeout-orders facilitated; and, their numbers are continuing to grow. “Processing that amount of restaurant orders is a lot of work, which is why we’re looking to add hundreds of new team members; we need to grow our workforce to keep up with the restaurant industry’s turn to takeout,” Bigari said.
Members of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber had positive remarks regarding SYNQ3’s growth. “We couldn’t be more thrilled with SYNQ3’s tremendous growth in our community,” Jeff Seymour, executive vice president of economic development for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, said. “SYNQ3 is one of the leading telecommute companies in the country, and their presence in our region gives our workforce a great option for flexible working hours. We look forward to a prosperous relationship between SYNQ3 and Oklahoma City for years to come.”
SYNQ3 provides opportunities for employees to work from home, set their own schedules and experience a job that allows greater flexibility to fit with classes and other jobs. New employees receive equipment for taking restaurant orders, including a laptop and headset. To be a telecommute employee, the individual must have his or her own internet; SYNQ3 provides the rest.
Employees start at $9.50 an hour and can participate in various incentive opportunities for additional pay. For example, SYNQ3 is currently running an incentive program in the month of May that pays $11 an hour to employees willing to work Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; peak restaurant hours.
