Taiwan delegation visits Chamber following trade agreement

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber recently welcomed representatives from Oklahoma's Taiwan Regional Trade Office, continuing the international partnership established earlier this year through a memorandum of understanding with the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT).
The visit marked another step in strengthening the relationship between Oklahoma and Taiwan following the March agreement, which created a framework for increased trade, investment and business collaboration between the two regions.
During their time at the Chamber, representatives from the Taiwan Regional Trade Office shared updates on the office's work in Taipei and discussed opportunities to connect Oklahoma businesses with partners across Taiwan, as well as South Korea and Japan. The office promotes Oklahoma's strengths in energy, aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing and logistics while helping companies pursue international business opportunities.
Chamber staff highlighted Greater Oklahoma City's economic momentum, business climate and strategic industries, reinforcing the region's position as a destination for investment and global collaboration.
The visit reflects the Chamber's ongoing efforts to translate international partnerships into meaningful business relationships that support job creation, investment and long-term economic growth for Greater Oklahoma City and the state.
