Developing a culture of allyship topic for April Creating a Culture of Inclusion Event

At the April Creating a Culture of Inclusion virtual event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn what it means to be an effective ally. Every organization has a group of stakeholders, executives, and staff who must foster effective communication through conflict, change and crisis. The April event will prepare those people to hold and encourage others to have challenging conversations that lead to better collaboration and teamwork. Developing a company culture of allyship–which includes listening, speaking up, and taking responsibility for the short- and long-term organizational goals–is a must in the workplace.

Speaker Adam Soltani, executive director of CAIR Oklahoma, will help attendees explore how to assess organizational inclusiveness and determine next steps for change; how to take steps to change inequity in the workplace culture and environment through effective advocacy; and how to measure change, and set goals.
