FAA's 10th Annual MMAC Industry Day and Matchmaking Event

By Chamber Staff / Events / June 14, 2024

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) invites small businesses to its 10th Annual MMAC Small & Disadvantaged Business Industry Day and Matchmaking Event on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT. This exciting event is designed to foster connections and collaboration between small businesses and key FAA program and customer organizations.

This year's event will be held in person at the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), conveniently located on the west side of Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While the spotlight is on Small Disadvantaged Businesses, all small businesses are encouraged to attend. Registration is required and closes on July 8, 2024, or when capacity is reached. Each business can register up to two employees, and all firms must be listed in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.

Participants will have the chance to engage with the following MMAC Program/Tenant Organizations:

  • FAA Academy (AMA)
  • Aeronautical Center Acquisition Services (AAQ-700)
  • Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI)
  • Enterprise Services Center (AMK)
  • Office of Facility Management (AMP)
  • FAA Logistics Center (AJW-L)
  • Flight Program Operations (AJO)
  • Small Business Program Office (AAP-20)
  • U.S. DOT OSDBU (OST)

MMAC, home to the largest concentration of FAA employees outside Washington, D.C., operates under the Office of Finance and Management (AFN). AFN is dedicated to providing and streamlining the FAA’s business services through a unified approach. MMAC's core functions include technical training, corporate outreach, emergency preparedness, property and facilities management, NAS logistics support, and financial management.

While registration does not guarantee a one-on-one meeting with a Program/Tenant Organization, registered attendees can still benefit from the opening remarks, MMAC Program Briefings and general networking sessions.
