Oklahoma aerospace leaders looking to land new applicants

The Oklahoma Aerospace Career Fair invites applicants to learn more about one of the state’s leading industries.
The career fair is free to attend and is being held by Oklahoma Aerospace Commerce Economic Services (ACES), a division of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Aerospace companies from around the state will be recruiting candidates for immediate openings at every experience level, from high school students to senior engineers.
There are nearly 300 aerospace firms located in central Oklahoma that employ more than 43,000 workers.
Job seekers can speak with potential employers about the benefits of working in the industry and, in some cases, take part in on-the-spot interviews.
The event will be held on Thursday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jeanie Webb Student Union on the Rose State College campus in Midwest City.
Registration for the event is not required but is recommended.
The ACES career fair will be hosted with assistance from the organization’s partners: Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, Oklahoma Works, Oklahoma CareerTech, Oklahoma Department of Veteran Affairs, Tulsa Tech, Rose State College and Jones PR.
