State of the Economy event to be held Nov. 14

By LToya Knighten / Events / October 24, 2018

Cut through the pundit noise and hear first-hand from local experts on what economic trends mean for your business.

How will fluctuating commodities impact your business? Will gas prices go up or down next year? Should interest rates continue to rise? The answers to these questions are complex and multi-layered because local, state and national economies are complex and multi-layered. It can be tough to filter through the opinions and find out what matters most to your business.

Since 2010, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber’s State of the Economy luncheon has been a key way for Chamber members to learn information and intelligence about local, state and national economic trends.

This year’s event will take place Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the National Western Heritage Museum and will feature local economists detailing their insight on what to expect from the Oklahoma economy next year. Additionally, Peter Ricchiuti, former assistant state treasurer for Louisiana and top-ranked professor at Tulane University Freeman School of Business, will provide his insight on how national and global economies are trending.
