The Cat Video Festival is back at the Myriad Botanical Gardens
In the advent of user-generated video streaming becoming increasingly popular, is there a better example of a modern day classic genre of video than the beloved cat videos?
It’s all right, there’s no need to be ashamed. I’m sure we’ve all, at some point another, sank unspeakable amounts of time digging deeper into the rabbit hole of cute and funny cat videos across the web. And as fun as watching several hours (that you swear was only a few minutes) worth of these adorable videos can be, would you care to know what could be even more fun? Attending an entire festival dedicated to them at the Meowryiad Botanical Gardens.
That’s right, the annual Cat Video Festival is back at the Myriad Botanical Gardens this month!
This year’s festival will be Caturday, August 18. The pre-show begins at 7pm and a film will be shown at 9. The festival features several of the year’s best cat videos from all corners of the Internet, several vendors, crafts, pop-in painting, a cat photo contest, and food galore.
