Tickets for State of the City are sold out, but there are still ways to watch it
Here at the Chamber, nothing makes us happier than seeing people get excited about Oklahoma City’s progress. At the end of the day, that’s why we do what we do. And one of those aforementioned things we do is a wonderful luncheon called State of the City. It has consistently been one of the Chamber’s most highly anticipated events, but 2019’s State of the City is shaping up to be a particularly memorable one; after all, the event is completely sold out.
But I hear you, you’re thinking how upset you are because you also wanted to hear about what’s going on in OKC and what’s on the horizon from our new mayor. Well fear not, I’d reply, for there are still ways to feel like you’re in the room where it’s happening.
- The City of Oklahoma City Facebook page will be livestreaming the event. When the stream begins, we’ll share it on the Chamber’s Facebook page as well.
- We’ll be making live posts from the event across Chamber social media, but mostly Twitter.
- Keep an eye on VeloCityOKC in the weeks after the event, a recap will be posted. Better yet, subscribe to the VeloCityOKC weekly emails to make sure you don’t miss it.
Speaking of sold out events, our January Chamber Forum about opportunity zones in OKC is completely sold out as well. If these events are any indication for what other Chamber events this year are going to be like (we like to hope so!) then purchasing a forum series pass to ensure you can get into the rest of the 2019 Chamber forums should be on your to-do list.
