West Village District Fourth Fridays

The West Village District’s Fourth Friday is back kicking off a summer of excitement and community spirit. This popular event series, transforming the southwestern corner of downtown, will continue the last Friday of each month through October, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Fourth Fridays encompass an evening of live music, sidewalk activities and pop-up markets, and opportunities to discover what makes this vibrant district a must-visit destination! This year’s festivities are centered around Historic Film Row’s Sheridan and Lee Avenue, offering a diverse mix of entertainment and activities.

What to Expect

Lee Avenue Block Party:

• Live Music: Groove to the sounds of MTKD Band and Zin Babies.
• Pop-Up Market: Browse unique goods from local vendors.
• Axe Throwing: Try your hand at this thrilling activity.
• Food Truck: Savor delicious bites from Shepp’s BBQ.

Sheridan Avenue Highlights:

• Rodeo Cinema: Enjoy an open house screening of 10-minute shorts and cartoons.
• Storyteller Theatre: Participate in "MadLibs: Unscripted," an interactive storytelling activity.
• The Floating Bookshop: Delight in story time sessions for both children and adults.
• Art Moves: Experience live music by Sarafina Byrd at Sun Cattle Co.
• Sailor & the Dock: Take a free salsa class and grab a bite from La Birria SuPerb and The TOGO Box food trucks.
