Celebrate love in all its forms this Valentine's Day in OKC

Valentine's Day in Oklahoma City offers something for everyone, from romantic dinners to unique experiences that celebrate love in all its forms. Whether you're enjoying a night out with your partner, friends or celebrating self-love, the city comes alive with exciting events and activities. From immersive art shows at Factory Obscura to lively block parties in the Plaza District, Oklahoma City has a variety of ways to make Valentine's Day unforgettable.
Valentine’s Day at Factory Obscura
Those 18 and older can celebrate Valentine’s Day at Factory Obscura, which will host its annual V-Day Bash and Art Show from 8-10 p.m. on Friday. Tickets are $5, or admission is free with tickets for Mix-Tape—the current immersive experience presented by Factory Obscura.
The V-Day Bash will feature a community art show, music by Sweetest Pot, fortune telling from Hugh Meade, a performance by Olympe and Factory Obscura’s Mix-Tape experience—which will be open for browsing during the event.
Following the V-Day Bash, Factory Obscura will also host the “In Love With Love” group art show from Feb. 15 to 17. This show, open to all ages, focuses on exploring the various forms of love in life. All the pieces will be on sale.
With nearly 35 artists featured in the show, there will be a wide array of styles available. Featured artists include abstract artist Ashley Showalter, stained-glass artist Daniela Tesic, glass artist and welder Elissa Newmeyer, upholstery artist Emily Madden, jewelry maker Evelyn Farrell, clay artist Gentry Leach, metal fabricator Jessie Rosenfelt, muralist Jordan Morris, crocheter Sarah Farrell, rug maker Shay Rhinehart and many more.
In correlation with these events, Factory Obscura’s Bonus Track shop is full of items from the LOVE collection. To complete the experience, additional heart eye diffraction glasses can also be purchased at the box office for $2.

Love! on the Plaza
The Plaza District will host “LOVE! on the Plaza” on Friday from 6-10 p.m. This Valentine’s Day themed block party will celebrate friendships, relationships and love of all kinds.
Love! On the Plaza will feature a wide range of activities for all to enjoy, including:

Valentine’s Day with OKC Improv
“Love is a Funny Thing” is OKC Improv’s February Mainstage Show that will begin on Friday, with additional dates of Feb. 15, 22 and 23, running from 7:30-9 p.m.
This shows centers around romantic mishaps, awkward first dates, heartwarming connections and everything in between—all from a comedic standpoint.
“Date Night to Spouses!” is OKC Improv’s Valentine’s Day show, running from 9:30-11 p.m. on Friday. This show will combine comedian duo Nic and Kyle Present: Date Night and Improv Spouses.
The comedians will ask an audience member to share their best, worst or wildest dating story. In Act I, Nic Szabo and Kyle Gossett will recreate the date. Then, in Act II, Kendon Lacy and Kyler Johnson will enact the fictional marriage that date might have led to.
No matter your relationship status, OKC Improv is the perfect place to visit for a Valentine’s Day full of laughs.
Skirvin Sweetheart Serenade
The Skirvin Hilton will host its Sweetheart Serenade on Friday from 7-11 p.m. Tickets are $175 for this Valentine’s Day event.
The event will take place in the Venetian Room, which has been set with the ultimate date-night experience, including dinner and a dance floor.
The menu will include an hors d'oeuvres of apple cranberry risotto; an appetizer of seared tuna with chanterelles and spring pea glacé; saffron poached pear with sweet greens and watermelon radish from the garden; a main course of halibut pavé with black fig and apricot, asparagus tips and jasmine rice coulibiac or Boursin beef tournedos with potatoes Lyon and roasted root colors; and a dessert of apple and almond pithivier with a sweet surprise to round out the menu.
Each meal will be paired with an alcoholic beverage served with each course. An additional cashless bar will be available to purchase cocktails.

Valentine’s Day with Dick’s House of Sport
For couples looking for a fitness-filled Valentine’s Day, the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City will host a cardio dance class on Friday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Dick’s House of Sport, 13145 N. Pennsylvania Ave. This class is $10, and a maximum of two participants can attend under one registrant.
The Valentine's Date Night Cardio Dance Class will also have a photobooth, giveaways and more during the event.
