Community brand survey extended through July 17

By Chamber Staff / Inside OKC / July 2, 2026

Oklahoma City community members will have additional time to help shape the city's future brand story.

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber and its community partners have extended the public survey tied to Oklahoma City's community branding initiative through Friday, July 17, giving those who live and work in the city more time to share their perspectives on what makes Oklahoma City unique.

The survey is part of a broader effort to develop a shared brand story that reflects Oklahoma City's identity, strengths and aspirations while helping position the city competitively for talent attraction, business recruitment and long-term growth.

Community input gathered through the survey, focus groups, one-on-one interviews and community engagement events will help inform the final brand platform.

"Creating a brand story that authentically reflects Oklahoma City starts with listening to the people who know this community best," said Lindsay Vidrine, chief marketing officer for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. "We've already heard valuable perspectives throughout this process, and extending the survey gives even more residents and employees the opportunity to help shape how Oklahoma City tells its story moving forward."

The branding initiative is being led by MMGY in partnership with local firms Gooden Group, Konjo Concepts and Tango PR. Since launching earlier this summer, the project team has conducted extensive community engagement efforts designed to ensure a broad range of voices are represented throughout the process.

The survey is available online at visitokc.com/survey. Residents and employees are encouraged to complete the survey before it closes on July 17.
