By Chamber Staff / Inside OKC / February 7, 2019

Although the election isn’t until Tuesday, early voting for your City Council candidates begins today. If, for whatever reason, you don’t think you can make it out to your polling place on Feb. 12 and you weren’t able to request an absentee ballot, then this is for you! With early voting, you can place your vote between now and Saturday at your county election board. Early voters can vote at the following times:

Thursday, Feb. 7, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 8, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you’re still not sure about your voter information or where your polling place is, don’t forget to check out this online voter tool.

The Feb. 12 ballot will decide who represents Wards 2, 5, 6 and 8 on the Council for the next four-year term, which begins in April 2019. There’s a total of 12 candidates who you can learn more about here.
