OKC is ranked among the best cities for first-time homebuyers
It’s no secret that OKC has a fantastic housing market. In fact, only a few months ago it was ranked as the third most affordable. And now, to only further the point that OKC is a fantastic place to live, Livability ranked it second (only behind Pittsburgh, PA) in its list of the best cities for first-time homebuyers. Affordability is, of course, the largest reason why it’s on this list. To be more specific, “80.7% of homes sold are considered affordable based on income and housing costs.” Furthermore, “Sales and price growth is predicted to go up about 3% over the next year.” And the cherry on top of the OKC-homebuying-sundae? If this makes you or someone you know want to move to OKC to buy a home, there’s a plethora of fantastic moving resources here.
