OKC ranks among the top cities for small businesses

By Chamber Staff / Inside OKC / May 10, 2019

It’s no secret that OKC is a fantastic town to open a business in, no matter what the size. And now, the rest of the country knows it, too: OKC just ranked among Biz2Credit’s top 25 cities for small businesses. Furthermore, OKC was home of the youngest businesses, which indicates that there’s lots of startup growth. We’re not incredibly surprised—after all, OKC’s costs of doing business are among the lowest in the nation, not to mention our abundance of young entrepreneurs.

Biz2Credit’s list, which is updated annually, weighs factors like annual revenue, credit scores and debt-to-income ratios to calculate where everything ranks on this list. “In its computation, Biz2Credit examined the financials of nearly 30,000 companies that applied for small business financing on its platform in 2018.”
