2024 was a landmark year for Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City, with the venue setting new records for both concert events and ticket sales. The surge in events and ticket sales helped Paycom Center rise to rankings in Pollstar’s Year-End Top Arenas Chart, placing 60th globally and 38th in the United States. These rankings highlight the ASM Global-managed facility as the best-selling arena in the state of Oklahoma.

The arena hosted 41 concerts, surpassing its previous high of 37 events in 2022. Among the year’s highlights, four performances set new gross ticket sales records—two Zach Bryan shows on May 17 and 18, and two Drake and J. Cole performances on March 18 and 19.

As the premier entertainment venue in Oklahoma City and home to the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder, Paycom Center remains a major player in the entertainment industry. The arena consistently ranks among Pollstar’s Top Arenas Worldwide and has now been named a finalist for Arena of the Year at the 36th Annual Pollstar Awards, set for February in Los Angeles.

“Paycom Center is proud to represent the region as a top destination for touring events,” said General Manager Chris Semrau. “Our team works tirelessly to bring the best entertainment to the community, and that hard work is reflected in another record-breaking year.”

Several major artists chose Paycom Center for their Oklahoma debut, including Olivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj, Childish Gambino, Chayanne, Theo Von and Aventura. Notably, both Childish Gambino and Creed kicked off their 2024 tours at Paycom Center. Fans from across Oklahoma and beyond filled the arena to capacity to see the Oklahoma-born Turnpike Troubadours. Other artists who sold-out the arena include Tool, Hozier, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and more.

In addition to concerts, the NBA arena hosted 45 Oklahoma City Thunder games and 23 Oklahoma City Blue games. The venue also featured popular family shows like Monster Jam and WWE events, as well as the debut of the Oklahoma Wildcatters during PBR’s Teams Series weekend.

Looking ahead to 2025, Paycom Center is set for another packed year, with several high-profile shows already confirmed. Alan Jackson will perform his final Oklahoma City show, among other hit musicians like Tyler Childers, Dwight Yoakam, Katy Perry and Kid Rock who have already booked the arena for 2025. Additionally, top comedians like Tom Segura, Nate Bargatze, Kevin Hart and Gabriel Iglesias are all slated to perform.

Paycom Center’s record-breaking year highlights its role as a must-visit venue for artists, athletes and entertainers. With an exciting lineup already set for 2025, the arena remains a premier destination for major events, bringing exciting entertainment to Oklahoma City.
