Rose State College to host career support event for government employees affected by layoffs

The Rose State College Office of Career Development will host a dedicated career support event on Monday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jeanie Webb Student Union, FNB Community Bank Ballroom (1910 Hudiburg Drive, Midwest City, OK 73110) for federal government employees impacted by recent layoffs.
The event is geared toward helping participants enhance their career prospects and confidently navigate the next phase of their professional journey.
"We understand career transitions can be challenging, especially under unforeseen circumstances,” said Dean of Workforce Development Dr. Whitney Alvis. “Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, providing expert guidance and strategies to help you move forward.”
Participants will have the opportunity to receive personalized coaching, resume updating services, interview preparation sessions and tailored job search strategies. The event aims to empower those affected by layoffs with the tools and confidence needed to secure new opportunities.
