Team OKC encourages Oklahomans to register for LA28 Ticket Draw beginning January 14
Local ZIP Codes will receive priority access for Olympic events staged in Oklahoma City
OKLAHOMA CITY (January 14, 2026) Team OKC today encouraged Oklahoma City residents and Oklahomans statewide to register beginning today, January 14, for the LA28 Ticket Draw. Registration is the required first step to access ticket purchase opportunities for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
Los Angeles is the host city of the 2028 Olympic Games. Oklahoma City will stage two Olympic sports in their entirety on behalf of LA28. Those sports are Olympic Softball with seventeen competition sessions and Olympic Canoe Slalom with nine competition sessions. Team OKC is the designated local organizing entity coordinating Oklahoma City’s Olympic competition operations.
Registration for the LA28 Ticket Draw opens January 14, 2026, and closes March 18, 2026. Registration is free. There is no advantage to registering early, you just need to meet the deadline. All registrants have an equal chance of being selected regardless of when they sign up during the registration window.
LA28 has confirmed that ZIP Codes local to Olympic competition venues will receive priority access to ticket opportunities before sales are opened more broadly. Oklahoma City residents must register during the Ticket Draw window to be eligible for this local priority access.
Individuals selected through the Ticket Draw will be contacted directly by LA28 beginning March 31 with a designated time slot for the OKC presale that is set for April 2-6, 2026. Tickets start at $28 and will be subject to availability.
Ticket purchases will be limited to twelve tickets per person. Ticket resale is restricted and subject to LA28 policies. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets only through official LA28 channels.
All registration and ticketing activity is managed exclusively by LA28. Fans should visit LA28.org beginning January 14 to register for the Ticket Draw and receive official updates.
Michael Byrnes, President of Team OKC, said Oklahoma City is proud to play a role in staging Olympic competition as part of the Los Angeles Games and encouraged residents to register so they can participate in this once in a generation opportunity. “This is our chance to show up for Oklahoma City and for the sports of softball and canoe slalom. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have an Olympic-sized moment right here in Oklahoma City. Don’t miss this one window to sign up to purchase tickets.”
