Ansel Adams and the Photographers of the West

Beginning at the age of 14 in 1916, Ansel Adams begin his career as a photographer. Over the course of his life he took more than 40,000 photos, mainly involving nature, and influenced generations of photographers with his work.

Starting Feb. 1 and running through May, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art will be hosting the Ansel Adams and the Photographers of the West exhibit that celebrates the work of Adams and other photographers who captured the beauty of the American West.
