By Laura Nance / Lifestyle / December 22, 2020

There’s no doubt you’ll have lots of extra trash after your holiday happenings, but you don’t want to land on next year’s naughty list for disposing of items incorrectly.

Review this list provided by the City of Oklahoma City, before you go green (recycling) or blue (trash):

Green:

            Paper greeting cards

Craft paper and brown bags (clip off any handles from bags)

            Cardboard boxes and gift boxes

            Catalogs

            Cardboard tubes

            Glass

Aluminum – foils, cans, cookware (cleaned)

            Plastic bottles and tubs

Blue:

            String lights

            Wreaths & greens

Christmas tree- real or artificial set out for monthly pick-up

            Tinsel & ornaments

Wrapping paper, gift bags & crepe paper

            Plastic bags

            Ribbons and bows

That ugly Christmas sweater (and other clothing)
