The average price for a domestic beer is a wallet-friendly $3.68, making it one of the most affordable in comparison to the national average at $4.78. Surprisingly, this cost only accounts for approximately 2.1% of the area's average annual income, emphasizing the city's affordability for beer lovers. 

Oklahoma City breweries average an impressive rating of 4.31 out of 5 on Yelp, showcasing the exceptional quality and satisfaction that beer lovers can expect. This outstanding rating is proof of the growing passion of the city's brewers in delivering top-notch beers to their patrons. 

A standout brewery located in the heart of Oklahoma City’s Wheeler District is The Big Friendly. It is a two-time remarkable recipient of the Brewery and Brewer of the Year awards at the Great American Beer Festival held in Denver, an accolade achieved by outshining thousands of other breweries.  

Additionally, The Big Friendly clinched gold in two distinct beer style categories: Category 15, for Session Beer or Belgian-Style Table Beer, and Category 27, for Brett Beer, further solidifying its position as a recognized player in the craft beer scene and a favorite amongst beer aficionados.
