Devon Ice Rink returns for winter season

Oklahoma City’s Devon Ice Rink opened for its winter season on Nov. 16 through Jan. 29, 2023. 

The 5,500-square-foot ice rink opens annually for visitors not only from across the city but the state. Surrounded by the aura of downtown’s Myriad Botanical Gardens, the rink allows children and adults alike to experience a seasonal thrill.  

Ice skate rentals are included with general admission of $14 per person; however, those who bring their own skates can enjoy the rink at a reduced price of $9. Active-duty military and veterans also receive the $9 rate, while members of the Gardens can pay $10, with skate rentals included.  

Groups of 10 or more people can also receive the $10 rate, which includes skate rentals, but reservations must be made in advance. 

The space is also open to reservations for events like birthday parties. For $200, visitors receive seating for up to 20 guests in an area reserved near the Devon Ice Rink for an hour and 30 minutes, as well as 10 skate rentals. Additional skate rentals can be made for $10 per person.  

The ice rink remains open throughout the holidays, making it a great space to enjoy time with family and friends. On Thanksgiving Day, the rink is open from 3 to 9 p.m. On Christmas Day, the rink is open from 12 to 6 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
