Devon’s 'Saturdays with Santa' moves to Myriad Gardens

Santa Claus is coming to town! Devon Energy has teamed up with Downtown in December and the Myriad Gardens to bring Saturdays with Santa to the Myriad Gardens this holiday season.  Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and several of his elves will be available for photos on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
 
Saturdays with Santa will be part of a winter weekend spectacular that will include a myriad of entertainment choices and events:
  • Holiday games and crafts
  • Storytelling and photos with Mrs. Claus
  • Visits and photos with Santa
  • “Polar Express” train ride around the Myriad Gardens
  • Specialty shops
  • Live entertainment throughout the day
  • Devon Ice Rink ($13 per person)
  • Food trucks and market vendors with custom ornaments, gifts and apparel unique to Oklahoma
“Throughout December, the Myriad Gardens will have holiday themed events that will cater to all Oklahomans and our visiting guests,” said Maureen Heffernan, CEO and President of the Myriad Botanical Gardens. “Being able to partner with Devon for one special weekend and continue the tradition of Santa taking photos, reading letters and interacting with children was important to everyone. We’d like to thank all of our corporate partners for helping us make that happen.”
 
“We’re excited to bring Santa back downtown for one full weekend this holiday season,” said Christina Rehkop, Devon’s Director of Community Relations. “Spending time in downtown OKC over the holiday season, taking pictures with Santa and experiencing all that our downtown community has to offer has become a tradition for so many Oklahoma families. We’re happy to partner with Myriad Gardens and Downtown in December to make it a reality for 2019.”
