Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays), the Crystal Bridge Conservatory is a haven of natural beauty. Upon entering the conservatory, visitors are greeted by a reflection pool, captivating plant collections, terraces with scenic overlooks and a mesmerizing waterfall feature. The conservatory provides an immersive experience, allowing guests to explore the wonders of horticulture and conservation. Don't miss the upcoming "The Curious World of Orchids" show from Feb. 16 to March 17, promising an enchanting display of these exquisite flowers.
Devon Ice Rink – Winter Fitness and Fun
Running until Feb. 4, the Devon Ice Rink is a highlight of winter at Myriad Botanical Gardens. Whether you're a seasoned skater or a novice, the outdoor ice rink offers a lively atmosphere and a great way to stay active. Admission is $14 per person, which includes skate rental. Special rates are available for those with their own skates, military personnel and Myriad Gardens members.
Saturday Skate Nights
Throughout January, Saturday nights at the Devon Ice Rink take on unique themes:
- Jan. 13: Move it with Motown – Groove to your favorite Motown hits for three solid hours.
- Jan. 23: Latin Music Night
- Jan. 30: Rock n' Roll-er Skate Night
The Devon Ice Rink is also open extended hours on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 15, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Park House Winter Dinner
Experience the magic of winter on Tuesday, Jan. 23, starting at 6 p.m., with the Park House Winter Dinner. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., followed by a sumptuous 4-course meal served at 6:45 p.m. Priced at $100 per person, this extraordinary culinary experience allows guests to dine amidst the graceful ice skaters on the Devon Ice Rink. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration
On Monday, Jan. 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., join the Myriad Botanical Gardens in commemorating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. This free event at the Park House Event Center and Crystal Bridge Lobby features music, crafts and readings. Families are encouraged to attend and honor Dr. King with performances by talented groups and artists.
Free Fitness Programs
Several free fitness programs are offered in the Water Plaza Room located on the lower level of the Crystal Bridge Conservatory.
Yoga
Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
Saturdays at 9 a.m.
These twice-weekly yoga classes cater to all levels of experience. Bring your mat and water bottle and immerse yourself in the journey to inner peace and relaxation.
Tai Chi
Every other Monday at 4 p.m. (Jan. 8, 22; Feb. 5, 19; March 4, 18)
Led by instructor Ling Miller, these energizing Tai Chi classes focus on improving breathing, enhancing balance and coordination, and increasing flexibility. Suitable for all levels, participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes.
Full Moon Sound Bath
Thursday, Jan. 25, 6-7 p.m.
Experience a relaxing sound bath and meditation with wellness practitioners Anna and Mark. This free event, open to the public, invites participants to bring a blanket, pillow and yoga mat for optimal comfort. The class size is limited to 70 people, so arrive by 6 p.m. to secure your spot.
