Expand your network at OKC Innovation District events

Oklahoma City’s Innovation District is bustling with activity, and it’s not just related to the construction of the Convergence project.
The Innovation District offers social events, symposiums and other opportunities that bring people together to collaborate and push progress forward. Take advantage of one of their events to impact the community and expand your network.
Oct. 8 – Workday with Restore OKC
The District’s October Workday is in partnership with Restore OKC for a day of service in northeast OKC on Oct. 8 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. First-time volunteers will receive a T-shirt to wear, and lunch will be provided for all.
Oct. 11 – Cocktails & Collaboration
A monthly happy hour event, Cocktails & Collaboration in October will be hosted at the 1015 Rooftop above Shop Good OKC in Automobile Alley on Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This networking event takes place on the second Tuesday of each month at various venues around the district, and the first 50 people will receive a free drink.
Oct. 12 – Oklahoma Venture Forum Power Lunch
Hosted by Oklahoma Venture Forum, this event features opportunities to learn more about small businesses, startups and funding opportunities, while providing opportunities for networking with other entrepreneurs. October’s forum will focus on building and consolidating brands, and registration is offered in-person or virtually.
Oct. 13 – Tech Talk: Artificial Intelligence
At this Tech Talk session, attendees will learn about current and future trends in artificial intelligence from the experts at General Genomics on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 11 a.m. to noon. Hosted at the OSU Harold Hamm Institute for American Energy, registration is free and lunch is provided.
Oct. 19 – InnoTech Oklahoma
Presented by Interworks, Inc., the 15th Annual Innotech Oklahoma conference will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. The region’s largest business and technology conference and expo provides education, innovation and peer-to-peer networking for IT professionals.
Oct. 19 – Walk Over Wednesday
This monthly event offers a networking opportunity for the district’s constituents and organizations to meet over lunch in Stiles Park. The first 100 attendees will receive a free item from the featured food truck.
