Festival of the Arts moves to June 22-27

One of OKC’s favorite yearly arts-related events, the annual Festival of the Arts typically ushers in spring in Oklahoma City. But this year, the Festival is welcoming summer.
Typically held each April, this year the Festival is set for June 22-27.
Staff, volunteers and community leaders felt moving the annual Festival to June is the safest option while still allowing for the art, music, food and more to fill the Civic Center grounds.
“Moving the Festival of the Arts to June this year is the right decision for the event and the community,” said Peter Dolese, ACOKC Executive Director. “It gives more time for vaccine distribution and protection allowing us to design an outdoor event that implements CDC guidelines and creates and enjoyable, safe experience.”
Visual artists accepted for the canceled 2020 Festival have been invited for 2021.
