Heard on Hurd - third Saturdays (March -Oct) 6-9 p.m.
This festival rocks 14 blocks of downtown Edmond. Shop at pop-up vendors and local retail while you stroll. In it’s 21st year, Heard on Hurd is organized by Citizens Bank of Edmond and was the first event to combine live music and food trucks on downtown streets. The main stage hosts well-known bands at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Yard games are scattered throughout the festival for a fun family evening and dogs are welcome!
VIBES - first Thursdays (April-Oct) 5-9 p.m.
A program of the Edmond Fine Arts Institute, VIBES emerged from a brainstorm of local leaders in 2020 seeking to create a new art walk event series with a creative spin. Participating businesses are paired up with local visual or performing artists. Attendees can visit shops and restaurants, which are open later for the event, to enjoy the art and get a taste of what downtown Edmond has to offer. The VIBES Visa Challenge is new for the 2022 season. Pick up a free VIBES Visa Task Card from participating downtown businesses and complete any number of tasks like visiting an artist and business, making a purchase, and posting on social media using the hashtag #VIBESVISA. Each completed task equals an entry into a drawing for monthly prize packages including gift cards to downtown businesses, artwork created by VIBES artists, and VIBES merchandise.
Edmond Bike Night - every Tuesday (April-Oct) 6-9 p.m.
This motorcycle event begins at the Edmond Railyard food hall and attracts motorcyclists from across the region. More than 100 motorcycles are parked for viewing and enthusiasts represent all styles of bikes. Weekly raffles encourage riders to visit local businesses. Musicians and apparel sales entertain guests as well as diverse local food options. Bike Night promotes the fun and positivity in the motorcycle community and connecting with friends and family.
