Independence Day fireworks displays around the metro

There’s nothing better than watching fireworks adorn the sky on America’s birthday! Oklahoma City will celebrate the 4th of July by hosting multiple firework shows all over the metro. Check out the list below to see what OKC has going on this year.

Red, White, and Boom: Enjoy a free concert by the Oklahoma City Philharmonic at the Red, White, and Boom festivities! This family-friendly event will bring a variety of musical selections followed by a spectacular firework show! (Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged)

  • When: July 3 - concert begins at 8:30 p.m.; fireworks at 10:00 p.m.
  • Where: State Fair Park, Gates 5 and 6 open at 6:30 p.m.

Downtown OKC 4th Fest: Come out and celebrate Independence Day at the Boathouse District. Admire the beautiful Oklahoma River while enjoying some sparkling fireworks! Make sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

  • When: July 4 at 9:45 p.m.
  • Where: Fireworks will be visible from anywhere in the Boathouse District and surrounding areas.

OKC Dodgers Game: Celebrate Independence Day by watching the OKC Dodgers play against the Round Rock Express. The game will include $2 Thursday and postgame fireworks!

  • When: July 4 at 7:05 p.m.
  • Where: Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark

Bethany Freedom Festival: Come for the whole day's events (parade, carnival rides and more) or just fireworks.

  • When: July 4 at 9:55 p.m.
  • Where: Eldon Lyon Park, just south of Northwest 39th Expressway between Council Rd. and Rockwell Ave.

Edmond LibertyFestEdmond's 4th of July activities are well-known, and the fireworks are no exception.

  • When: July 4 at 9:30 p.m.
  • Where: Hafer Park, 1034 South Bryant Ave (parking lot for the baseball fields).

Yukon Freedom FestActivities abound (triathlon, car show, watermelon & ice-cream, hot dog eating contest, OKC Philharmonic concert and more) in Yukon's two-day Independence Day celebration.

  • When: July 3 and 4 at 10:00  p.m.
  • Where: Yukon City Park, 2200 South Holly and Chisholm Trail Park, 500 West Vandament (both parks interconnect).

Kingfisher Independence CelebrationCome for the parade, stay for the fireworks.

  • When: July 4 at dark
  • Where: Kingfisher Park, south of Highway 33 and just east of North 1st Street

Fantasy of Fire: Spend 4th of July at the Frontier City Amusement Park! Come ride some thrilling rollercoasters and enjoy a firework show! The Fireworks are free with park admission or a Season Pass.
