If you consider yourself a wine aficionado, there’s no need to depart from Oklahoma to sample a good vintage or two. According to Oklahoma Agritourism, there are more than 40 wineries across the state (up from just three at the turn of the millennium!) where you can enjoy vineyard tours and tastings.

The best way to experience Oklahoma’s wine country is through its winery trails, which are organized by type of wine and by region. Whether you want to experience “How Merlot Can you Go?” in northeast Oklahoma or “Everything is Coming Up Rosés” in the central Oklahoma region, Oklahoma wineries and vineyards have something for your taste.
