Lyricís ĎA Christmas Carolí gets an outdoor twist

By Kaylee McDaniel / Lifestyle / November 10, 2020

As the Halloween decorations come down, the winter holiday celebrations are already beginning in Oklahoma City. Lyric Theatre’s A Christmas Carol has already begun its seasonal slate of performances with a COVID-safe twist: Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future will lead you on a magical journey in an interactive outdoor theater.

Lyric’s diamond anniversary celebration of A Christmas Carol is an all-new outdoor production that will whisk audiences away to a magical holiday village nestled in the heart of Oklahoma City. The historic Harn Homestead, 1721 N. Lincoln Blvd., will be reimagined as the Victorian Era setting for Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, magical spirits and a host of unforgettable characters. Patrons will follow Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of transformation and redemption, as they are guided from scene to scene at the homestead.

Two rotating casts will perform on alternating dates throughout November and December. To adhere to safety guidelines, tickets will be strictly limited to 100 guests for each performance. Visit lyrictheatreokc.com to view performance dates and purchase your tickets today.
