National Margarita Day

On Thursday, Feb. 22, take some time to relax and venture out to one of the many spots in the Oklahoma City metro that are celebrating National Margarita Day. A refreshing drink with so many different varieties around Oklahoma City, you are sure to find one to satisfy your taste buds. We have listed out the top spots in Oklahoma City to check out.

Palo Santo Cocktail Bar and Kitchen – Located in the Farmers Market near downtown, Palo Santo offers a few options for margaritas. Tommy’s Margarita is a Blanco tequila, agave nectar, lime, and sea salt. They also offer the Palo Santo Margarita, a mixture of mezcal, Martinique, petite shrub, lime, grapefruit bitters and sea salt.

Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes – Barrios, located on Hudson Avenue, has several tasty options. Choose from a De La Casa, Frozen Avocado, Guava-Habanero or the Beer Rita. Whether you like a fruity taste or a little spice, these are sure to please anyone!

El Coyote – Located on Britton Road, El Coyote offers an authentic experience with several margarita options. Go for a classic Margarita La Casa or test the heat with a Taos Desert Heat. The Pina in the Plaza is a refreshing option as it has Azteca Azul Tequila Blanco, agave, pineapple, fresh lime juice and Tajin.

The Lazy Donkey – The Lazy Donkey, located on Reno Avenue, is a Tex-Mex restaurant with a good reputation. Not only is their food and service amazing, but their margaritas are some of the best around! They offer a small and large size as well as several different flavor options.

OSO Paseo – Located in the Paseo Arts District, OSO Paseo offers a unique dining experience with a tasty food menu but also offers one of the best margaritas in OKC. Order an OSO Margarita and choose from passion fruit, strawberry or spicy jalapeño.

Skirvin – Red Piano Lounge – Located right inside the Skirvin Hotel in the heart of downtown OKC, the Red Piano is a must-visit spot. Inside their lounge, order a famous Pineapple Margarita, or if you like a little spice, try the Spicy Margarita made with either jalapeño or habanero tequila.

Chicken N Pickle – Chicken N Pickle is the perfect place to hang out and play some pickleball, eat some delicious food and have a drink. Chicken N Pickle will be offering different margarita flavors for customers to enjoy all day on Feb. 22. Chicken N Pickle is located at 8400 N. Oklahoma Ave.

Chuy’s – Chuy’s will have a margarita special of $2 upgrades from small to grande. They also will be having a new Spicy Watermelon ‘Rita and Frozen Ruby Red’ Rita, $5 chips ‘n’ dips from 3-6 p.m., new menu specials and other exclusive offers throughout the day. Chuy’s has locations in both Oklahoma City and Norman.
