ROAR! As the days are getting warmer, it is a perfect time to take the family to the Oklahoma City Zoo. The zoo is currently home to more than 1,000 animals and counting. The OKC Zoo is more than just a place to take your kids on a field trip, it holds experiences you will never forget. On Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m., you can feed the giraffes for $5 and on Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 1:30 p.m., you can feed the rhinos from $10, and so much more.

The OKC Zoo is constantly growing with the "Exhibition Africa" project set to be completed this spring. This project will be home to more giraffes, lemurs, ostriches and many more species native to Africa. The OKC Zoo is also a great place to host events and even birthday parties. Tickets are $16 for those 12 to 64 years of age, $13 for children under 12 and $13 for a senior 65 or over. Children under two get in free. For more information, visit okczoo.org.

Last week's wildlife animal of the week was the grizzly bear, which commemorated the 20 years that zoo residents Wiley and Will have spent in the Oklahoma Trails habitat.
