OKC is Burger HQ

It should be no surprise you can throw a rock anywhere in Oklahoma City and hit an amazing burger place. The Oklahoma onion burger is famous all over the U.S., and El Reno, just a quick drive west of Oklahoma City, is home to the Fried Onion Burger Day Festival. Each year at the festival, intrepid chefs cook the world’s largest onion burger weighing over 850 pounds.
Oklahomans take pride in their hamburgers, and it is not just us patting ourselves on the back. Most recently, Home Bay ranked OKC as the No. 4 best city for burgers in the country.
The debate for the best burger in OKC is an intense one, even here at Better Life HQ. Everyone has strong opinions. Even trying to list the burger places in OKC is a fool’s errand.
