OKC streetcars offer fun, comfortable way to explore downtown and nearby districts

If you are looking for a unique, fun and comfortable way to travel in and around the downtown Oklahoma City area, with easy access to many popular arts and entertainment districts where many retail shops, museums, restaurants and nightlife abound, including Bricktown, Midtown and Automobile Alley, consider jumping on one of several streetcars.
Part of EMBARK’s family transit services, the Oklahoma City streetcars officially began operating in 2018 after Oklahoma City voters approved their construction as part of the MAPS 3 program in 2019. The streetcars run a 6.8-mile loop around downtown and Bricktown, stopping at 22 different platforms throughout the route. The streetcars even make a stop in front of Paycom Center, where the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA basketball team plays their games, providing easier access for your traveling party to and from the games!
Fares range from $1 for a single one-hour ride all the way up to an annual pass for $384, which can only be purchased via the new EMBARK Mobile Fare App available for both IOS and Android devices. Simply visit okcstreetcar.com or tokentransit.com to download the app. There is also a 24-hour day pass for $3 and a 30-day pass for $32, also only available on the Token Transit app. Seniors 65 or older and children 7-17 years of age can take advantage of half-price fares, as well as individuals with qualifying disabilities. If you do not have a mobile phone to purchase a streetcar fare, no worries! There are ticket vending machines on each platform where you can purchase your fare either by credit card or cash. If you are going to pay by cash, please note that the vending machines do not accept paper money but only coins.
