Mixbook's Judging Process
To determine which city truly deserved the lofty title, Mixbook enlisted the help of a panel of dog experts as judges. They were presented with sets of dog photos from the 25 most populous cities in the U.S. as well as 10 international cities. The names of the cities were withheld to ensure unbiased opinions.
The dogs were judged in the following categories:
- Cutest Dogs Overall: In this category, judges looked for that special "aww" factor that transcends breeds and sizes.
- Cutest Small Dogs: From Chihuahuas to Shih Tzus, this category focused on the pint-sized pups that capture hearts with their tiny stature and adorable expressions.
- Cutest Big Dogs: For those who appreciate larger breeds like Golden Retrievers or Great Danes, this category celebrates the charm of the gentle giants.
- Best-Groomed Dogs: A well-groomed dog can steal the show, and this category recognizes the efforts of owners in keeping their pets looking their very best.
- Cutest Faces: Sometimes, all it takes is one irresistible look from a dog's eyes to melt our hearts. This category appreciated the undeniable cuteness of those canine faces.
Oklahoma City's Triumph
With fierce competition from all over the country, Oklahoma City stood out among the pack, showcasing a delightful array of dogs that excelled in every category. From small, fluffy Bichon Frises to majestic Saint Bernards, Oklahoma City's four-legged residents impressed the judges with their charm, charisma and undeniable cuteness.

While there may not be a definitive answer as to why Oklahoma City ranked No. 1 in the nation for cutest dogs, several factors could have contributed to our success:
