RIVERSPORT hosting new event, Paddlemania

“Eight million gallons of raging rapids. Six chaotic competitions. One ultimate whitewater event.” That’s how RIVERSPORT describes their new, one-of-a-kind event, Paddlemania, happening Sunday, Oct. 1 at the RIVERSPORT Rapids.

The six events offer something for all skill levels. If you don’t want to participate in the races, you can come watch the action for free.

The events include a flatwater raft tug of war, whitewater kayak racing, Build Your Own Boat racing, big water rafting, extreme kayaking and a kayaking freestyle roll challenge.

Registration is free for RIVERSPORT members and corporate partners, and nonmembers can enter most events with the purchase of a day pass. Participation in the Build Your Own Raft competition is only $50 per raft.
