Satisfy your shopping bug safely outdoors at Scissortail Park’s Night Market
The Scissortail Park Promenade is where you need to be Friday, October 16 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. for a dose of safe, outdoor shopping and community support via the Night Market. Lots of local vendors and purveyors will be out to satisfy your shopping needs, whether you’re looking for gifts, clothes, sweets, plants, books, or even beer! (We here at TBL are actually fans of all of those.) Be sure to bring and wear your face covering and observe social distancing while you’re browsing or in line at a food truck or bar service location.
Last month’s edition also featured live music and lots of people hanging out, enjoying the nice weather and friendly communal atmosphere, and we have no doubt October’s event will bring more of the same. While you’re there, you can enjoy even more of what Scissortail Park has to offer, including paddleboat rentals, roller skating, playing on the playgrounds, enjoying the garden spaces, letting your dog have a spin through the dog park area, or just chilling on a blanket watching the stars cross the sky. If you haven’t been to Scissortail Park yet, this is a great event to mark your first visit.
If you can’t make it this month, don’t worry. There’s one more Night Market in November.
And don’t forget there’s a Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning at Scissortail Park.
