If all things scary appeal to you, don’t miss Oklahoma City’s Horror Con Aug. 5-6 at Remington Park. Horror Con is a horror-themed, family-friendly event that includes Q&A panels, cosplay, scaryokie, scare zones, vendors and more.

Horror Con also gives fans the opportunity to meet their favorite horror film stars including Linnea Quigley from “The Return of the Living Dead.” Quigley was the quintessential “scream queen,” starring in dozens of low-budget horror films in the 1980s. She will introduce the film and participate in a question-and-answer session after the movie. It’s showing at 7 p.m. on Aug. 4 at Rodeo Cinema, 2221 Exchange Ave.

David Naughton from “An American Werewolf in London,” will also attend the Horror Con screening. Naughton plays doomed backpacker Adam Larson in the film. You may also remember him from an iconic 1977 television ad for Dr. Pepper. Naughton debuted the famous jingle “Be a Pepper,” which quickly became a worldwide sensation. The Aug. 6 movie screening is at 7 p.m., also at Rodeo Cinema.

Tickets range from $15 for the movie screenings to $40 for a weekend pass to $125 for a VIP pass. You can learn more about the event and purchase tickets on the Horror Con website.
